Journal Entry #3

Okay,
So it's time I get started and actually post on this blog daily. I must say after I got this whole idea approved and had the official papers signed I lost all my motivation, and my attitude of "I'm a senior and have nothing to do" took affect. This clearly was a horrible mind set to get into, but I'm out of it now. I may not have been posting on this site, but whenever I get some sort of idea of what to write or what to say I write it down in a word document or on my phone, and tell myself I’ll post this later.
My latest idea is to post a fact everyday, and elaborate on it. I know that I need infinity amount of posts on this site to actually pass the project so hopefully this works out. Also I was telling my friend about all of these ideas and how I was completely stressed out over everything, but he gave me even more ideas to use and by the end of the day I felt confident and decided I needed to get a move on. Instead of this just being a blog with facts, statistics, and redundant information I want to do something more with this. My new plan is to add pictures, videos, and real life stories starring people I interview on the streets and my friends and relatives who have a tendency to always text/talk on the phone and drive.
I’m really more excited rather than stressed beyond belief about this project now. I think I may even be able to have fun with it which is good. This senior project seems to make more sense to me now that I looked at it from a different view; I am very confident about it and have high hopes.
Now that I’ve talked about all of my big plans, and about my stress it’s time to move on to something else. The first topic, safety on the internet is important. Each day I will post a new safety tip for everyone to see. This will inform them on how to act when surfing the web.

Senior Project

At the Metropolitan Learning Center, where I go to high school all seniors must complete a service project as requirement to graduate. Most people form events to raise money for the children to have clean drinking water, or set up a talent show while informing the crowd about an important issue amongst teens today like gang violence or suicide. This year I decided to take a different route, for my senior project I have created this blog. I will still be informing anyone who reads this about how technology affects teenager’s relationships with their family and friends as well as their school life such as class work, homework and making new friends.
Throughout this entire year I will try to get as
many followers as I can (My goal is one hundred) and update this blog at least once a week with brand new facts.
I hope you guys find this as informational as it is interesting and maybe even add some of your ideas and comments into the comments section
